2013 SECOND-TEAM ALL-SOUTHERN CONFERENCE Junior (2013): Teamed with sophomore Fares Kilani to earn the championship title of the Flight 2 doubles competition of the Steve Baras Classic . . . concluded the Samford Fall Invite with a 2-1 record and knocked off Jacksonville State’s Felipe Diaz, 0-6, 6-4, 7-5.
Sophomore (2012-13): Earned Second-Team All-Southern Conference honors after concluding the regular season with a 13-7 overall record and a 7-3 mark against league opponents . . . finished the year with a 15-8 dual-match record, as well as a 14-8 tally at singles court No. 5 . . . at No. 2 doubles, he competed with teammate Elliot Barnwell and registered a 9-5 record, including a 7-3 mark in SoCon play . . . opened the spring season with a five-match winning streak in singles action . . . finished the campaign with huge singles victories against College of Charleston and Elon en route to winning the SoCon Tournament . . . concluded the regular season having won seven of his final nine matches in doubles play . . . transferred to Samford from the University of Wisconsin and competed for the Bulldogs in the fall . . . participated in the 30
th Annual UTC Steve Baras Fall Classic and concluded his first weekend at Samford with a stellar 3-1 singles record . . . advanced to the second round of the 2012 Crimson Tide Fall Championships as he cruised past West Alabama’s Simon Bardell in opening-round action by a score of 6-2, 6-1 . . . in doubles play, he teamed with true freshman Fares Kilani to claim the Flight No. 3 championship title at the Samford Fall Invite . . . the pair defeated Troy’s tandem of Anas Rouchdi and Daniel Bustamantae, 8-5, to finish 3-0 in the tournament . . . earned his first varsity letter.
Freshman (2011-12): While competing at the University of Wisconsin, he concluded the fall schedule with a singles record of 3-7 . . . participated in the Big Ten singles tournament . . . played in the Wildcat Invitational . . . competed in the ITA Midwest Regional qualifying draw . . . posted a 2-1 record at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic . . . in doubles, he finished the fall season with an 8-3 mark . . . won the back draw of the Flight B Big Ten Doubles tournament . . . reached the semifinal round of the Wildcat Invitational . . . played in the ITA Midwest Regional doubles main draw . . . finished with an unblemished 3-0 record at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic.
High School: Attended Lexington Catholic High School and played tennis for coach Anne Tramontin . . . named all-state as a senior with a 19-2 singles record . . . three-time all-region honoree . . . team posted an 18-3 record as a junior, went 17-3 as a sophomore and finished 15-5 as a freshman.
