Biography
2014 (Junior): Indoor: Competed in four meets…recorded a season high 13.48m in the shot put at the SoCon Indoor Championships on March 2…notched a season high 15.13m in the weight throw at the SoCon Indoor Championships…Outdoor: Competed in six meets…turned in a season best mark of 13.13 in the shot put at the SoCon Outdoor Championships and a season high 45.06m in the hammer throw.
2013 (Sophomore): Indoor: Competed in six meets … set a new personal best in the weight throw and added team points at the SoCon Championships, placing sixth with a toss of 52-10.5 (16.12m) … the mark ranks second all-time at Samford. Outdoor: Competed in seven meets … set a new school record in the shot put at the Samford Open, placing fourth with a distance of 44-6 (13.56m) … placed ninth at the SoCon Championships in the shot put (41-3, 12.57m) and hammer throw (153-3, 46.71m) … the hammer throw mark is a personal best and ranks fourth all-time at Samford … set a meet record at the BSC Southern Invite in the shot put, winning the event with a mark of 42-4 (12.90m).
2012 (Freshman): Indoor: Competed in five meets … set a school record in the shot put at the Crimson Tide Indoor Meet, placing eighth with a distance of 40-7 (12.37m) … placed eighth at the SoCon Championships in the shot put (40-4, 12.29m) … set a new PR in the weight throw at the SoCon Championships (46-0, 14.02m). Outdoor: Competed in seven meets … set a school record in the shot put with a sixth-place showing at the SoCon Championships (41-8.75, 12.72m) … won the shot put at the BSU Invitational (39-7.5, 12.07m) … threw a personal-best distance of 138-1 (42.10m) in the hammer throw at the Coach “O” Invite.
High School: Named to All-Area track team her junior and senior seasons ... placed sixth in the shot put at the state meet her sophomore season and eighth her senior year ... finished fourth at the state meet in the discus her junior season.
