Biography
Freshman (2013-14): Earned the first start of his Samford career on Feb. 27 against Appalachian State and played a career-high 18 minutes . . . played a good game against Davidson in the second round of the Southern Conference Tournament as he tallied four points, two blocks, one rebound, a steal and an assist in only 12 minutes of action versus the Wildcats . . . turned in his best performance as a Bulldog on Jan. 30 against Wofford as he dropped in five quick points in only six minutes of playing time . . . he finished 2-of-4 from the field versus the Terriers . . . he scored three points for a third time in the course of the season on Dec. 14 at FGCU as he finished 3-of-4 from the free-throw line . . . tallied his three points in only six minutes of game action . . . tied his career high with eight minutes of playing time versus UT Martin on Dec. 4 and also tallied career-highs in points (3) and rebounds (3) . . . earned eight minutes of playing time against Kentucky State on Dec. 1 and finished with two points and a rebound . . . finished with three points, a rebound and a steal at Stephen F. Austin on Nov. 26 . . . logged five minutes of game action and scored all three of his points from the charity stripe . . . earned his first varsity letter.
High School: Averaged 15.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game as a senior at St. James School in Hagerstown, Md. . . . an ever-improving prospect, his first love was soccer and he only started dedicating himself to basketball in 2010 . . . blessed with the natural ability to shoot from anywhere on the court, he registered the top single-game scoring mark in the Tri-State area this season with a 41-point performance in December . . . chose to attend Samford over interest from Georgetown, Virginia Tech, Drexel, Quinnipiac, Colgate and Mount Saint Mary’s . . . also an outstanding cross country runner for the Saints.
