Biography


Junior (2014-15):  Earned playing time in all 32 of the Bulldogs’ games over the course of the season . . . started in the team’s key contest at Southern Conference foe VMI on Feb. 28 . . . logged 610 minutes of playing time for an average of 19.1 per outing . . . turned in a 44.6-percent shooting mark from the field and a solid 36.1-percent tally from beyond the arc . . . his 3-point shooting percentage proved to be the second best on the team . . . finished third on the squad with 54 assists and averaged 6.1 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest . . . turned in the best performance of his young Samford career on Jan. 5, as he tallied a personal-best 20 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field against ETSU . . . drained a career-high five 3-point baskets and handed out a pair of assists against the Buccaneers . . . maintained his hot shooting versus ETSU on Feb. 7, as he closed out the game with four straight 3-point baskets, including the game-winner with 3.0 seconds remaining . . . continued his solid play against SoCon competition on Jan. 22, as he registered 18 points, four rebounds, two assists and a pair of steals in an 89-78 victory over UNCG . . . scored 15 points on 5-of-5 shooting from the field versus Auburn-Montgomery on Dec. 20 . . . drained a trio of 3-pointers and logged a career-high 25 minutes of game time against the Warhawks . . . continued his solid play in SoCon action on Jan. 24, as he scored 12 points on 3-of-5 shooting from the field against Western Carolina . . . he also went 5-of-6 from the free-throw line . . . earned his first varsity letter.
 
Junior College:  Spent a pair of quality seasons at Wallace State Junior College in Hanceville, Ala. . . . as a true freshman at WSJC, he immediately burst onto the scene by averaging 9.9 points for the Eagles, while dishing out a team-high 88 assists in 30 starts . . . last season, as a sophomore, he averaged 13.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game . . . shot 44.7 percent from the field and registered 14 double-digit scoring performances . . . against Northeast Mississippi Community College on Dec. 11, he tallied a season-high 26 points, finished 10-of-13 from the floor and 4-of-5 from 3-point range . . . led Wallace State Junior College to a 28-7 overall record as a freshman . . . additionally, he captained the Eagles to their third Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC)/Region 22 state tournament championship in the last five years, including two in the last three seasons.
