Junior (2016) - Competed in five meets for the Bulldogs...ran a personal best, 16:31:90, in the 5k at the Powerade Invitational in Chattanooga, TN and placed 33^rd overall...ran a personal best, 24:56:30, in the 8k at the Southern Conference Championships and placed 19^th overall...ran a personal best, 32:52.10, in the 10k at the NCAA South Regionals and placed 91^st overall.

Sophomore (2015) – Competed in six meets for the Bulldogs…ran a personal record time of 16:47.30 in the 5k at the Samford Tri-Meet on Sept. 1, where he placed 24^th overall…also ran a personal record time in the 8k where he ran a 26:29.00 at the SoCon Championships on Oct. 31, where he also placed 46^th overall…ended the season with another personal record performance in the 10k at the NCAA South Regionals where he placed 116^th overall with a time of 33:45.1.

Freshman (2014) – Competed in six meets for the Bulldogs under head coach Lori Strand…ran a 17:34.33 in his first collegiate 5k at the Samford Dual Meet on Aug. 29…posted a season best time of 26:39.99 at the SoCon Championships on Oct. 31, where he finished 49^th overall…competed in his first NCAA South Regional and ran a time of 33:46.00 and finished 130^th overall…highest place finish of the season in 8k events came on Sept. 25, when he placed 15^th at the Charlotte Invitational.

High School: Prepped at Northview High School under head coach Mike Morris…lettered four years for the cross country team…three-time cross country MVP…two time track and field MVP…holds Northview High School records in the 1,600 meters (4:21.00), the 3,200 meters (09:43.00) and the 5,000 meters (16:10.00).

Personal: Full name Joshua Salter…born on November 7, 1995…Son of Mark and Lauren Salter…has one brother, Caleb and one sister, Ansley…majoring in Business Administration.
