Biography

2021 (Spring): Started all seven games in the secondary . . . tallied 18 tackles, including 15 solo stops . . . broke up two passes and recovered one fumble . . . had five tackles and a fumble recovery in the season opener at ETSU . . . registered a season-high six tackles against Western Carolina . . . had three tackles and a pass break-up against VMI.

2019 (Junior): Saw action in 11 of the team’s 12 games . . . registered 42 total tackles, including 31 solo stops . . . had 2.0 tackles for loss, four pass break ups and a blocked kick . . . had a career-high 10 tackles against Chattanooga . . . tallied seven tackles against ETSU . . . contributed six tackles at VMI . . . blocked a kick at Auburn.

2018 (Sophomore): Played in all 11 games . . . tallied 19 tackles, including 14 solo tackles . . . also forced one fumble . . . had a season-high four tackles against ETSU . . . tallied three tackles each against Western Carolina, VMI and The Citadel . . . also forced a fumble at The Citadel.

2017 (Freshman): Saw action in seven games . . . finished the season with three tackles, including one solo stop . . . had two tackles at VMI.

High School: Named All-City after recording 24 tackles and four interceptions as a senior at Birmingham’s Ramsay High School . . . as a junior, had 37 tackles, five interceptions and two forced fumbles . . . tallied an interception and 22 tackles as a sophomore . . . as a freshman, had a career-high 51 tackles and intercepted one pass . . . for his career, finished with 125 tackles and 11 interceptions while spending time at both cornerback and safety.
