Alex Beasley is in her third year as the athletic trainer for the Samford University baseball team.

In her current role, Beasley provides medical coverage for Samford’s baseball team. She coordinates weekly on-campus clinics, implements a mandatory arm-care program for Samford's pitching staff, conducts mid-year screenings for injury prevention and educates student-athletes on nutritional habits.

Prior to coming to Samford, Beasley worked for the Kingsport Mets, a Rookie League affiliate of the New York Mets. She also spent time working for the Norfolk Tides.

Beasley spent two years working as a graduate assistant at Chattanooga. At Chattanooga, Beasley did a season-long rotation with the men's basketball team. She also worked with football and women's soccer.

Beasley earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science with a minor in psychology from Berry College in 2016. She also earned a master's degree in athletic training from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2018.
