Christina Harris

Christina Harris begins her second year as the academic coordinator for the Samford football team.

Harris is responsible for directing academic services for the Samford football team.

Harris came to Samford from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she worked as an athletic academic advisor from August 2010 until joining the Samford staff in August 2012. At UAB, Harris worked with the football and women’s bowling teams.

Harris worked as an assistant academic coordinator in the Duke University athletics department from August 2009 to May 2010. At Duke, she worked with the freshmen on the football team, and with the track and field, cross country, rowing and swimming and diving teams.

Harris served as a professional tutor and academic advisor at North Carolina Central University from October 2008 to October 2009.

She served as a school counselor at Carrington Middle School in Durham, N.C. from August 2008 to May 2009, and she was an assistant men’s and women’s track and field coach at North Carolina Central from August 2006 to August 2009.

Harris earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from North Carolina Central in May 2005. She also received her Master of Arts degree in councelor education from NCCU in May 2008.
