Terrance Malone enters his first season on the Samford football coaching staff. He coaches the team’s outside linebackers.
Malone comes to Samford from East Mississippi Community College where he was a graduate assistant, working with defensive backs and assisting with the strength and conditioning program.
At EMCC, in addition to his work with the cornerbacks and in the weight room Malone assisted in game planning and was the practice scout team coordinator. He helped script games and practices, assisted in recruiting and even painted the field.
Prior to his time at EMCC, Malone was a gradaute assistant at his alma mater, Murray State in 2016. While with the Racers, Malone assisted with the defensive backs and in the weight room. He was also the practice scout team coordinator and helped script games and practices.
Malone earned a degree in health and physical education and adolescent career special education.
