Was a two-time team captain at Shelby County High School … as a senior, won the Racehorse Award and Strong Man Award for his team … named first team All-Shelby County as a running back for his junior season … won his team’s Versatility Award as a junior and the Iron Man Award as a sophomore … was named an Over the Mountain Touchdown Club Player of the Week during his sophomore season … started on both offense and defense for three seasons … for his career, rushed for over 3,000 yards . . . born April 6, 1994 . . . son of Tommy and Phyllis Thomas.
