Robert Adams was a two-time All-State and three-time All-Metro honoree at Trinity Presbyterian in Montgomery . . . Adams ranks fourth in state history in career touchdown receptions and in single-season touchdown receptions . . . He also ranks fifth in state history in career receptions and eighth in career receiving yards . . . Adams was named the Montgomery Quarterback Club’s Player of the Year as a senior . . . For his career, Adams had 3,390 receiving yards and 50 touchdowns on 225 receptions . . . As a senior, he caught 70 passes for 1,200 yards and 21 touchdowns . . . He also had three rushing touchdowns and one punt return for a touchdown during his senior season.
