Was a two-year starter at right tackle at Elba High School . . . started the last 26 games in a row for the Tigers . . . helped lead Elba to the 2A state championship as a junior in 2011 . . . the Tigers earned region championships in 2010, 2011 and 2012 . . . was named All-State Honorable Mention and a team captain in 2012 . . . was involved in FCA, and he was the salutatorian of his senior class at Elba . . . played for Coach Scott Rials in high school . . . born June 29, 1995 . . . son of Mike and Starla Amison.
