High School: Prepped at Guntersville High School in Alabama . . . completed 165-of-276 passes for 2,275 yards and 20 touchdowns as a senior . . . helped lead his team to an 8-3 record and the second round of the Class 5A state playoffs . . . was voted Co-Offensive Most Valuable Player on the All-Marshall County team.
