An extremely versatile guard/forward . . . a legit 6-foot-6 and could play anywhere from point guard to power forward . . . has the ability to score and create for others . . . he and his family showed a great belief in Samford by committing back in June . . . has been an intricate factor in the recruitment of our entire class.
High School: Starred throughout his prep career at Murray High School in Murray, Ky. . . . five-year varsity member at MHS . . . named the No. 1 player in the 1st Region by The Cats Pause . . . a front-runner for Kentucky’s Mr. Basketball as a senior, which is awarded to the top senior in the state . . . earned all-conference honors and moved on to receive first-team all-region honorable mention accolades as a junior . . . helped lead his squad to a second-place finish in the section under the tutelage of Head Coach Bart Flener . . . invited to attend the Murray State Elite Camp, Adidas Explosion Camp, Vanderbilt Elite Camp and the 2014 Summit Top 50 Invitational Camp . . . played in the showcase game and finished in the top 10 at both the Adidas Explosion Camp and the Summit Top 50 Invitational Camp . . . also a four-year letterwinner in golf at MHS and proved to be a regional champion in 2014, while posting a career-best score of 5-under-par 67 at the annual Nashville Tournament . . . ran varsity track for a season and participated in the 100-meter, 200-meter, triple jump and long jump . . . averaged 15 points, four rebounds and four assists per game at MHS and was listed as the seventh best junior in the state of Kentucky . . . already scored over 800 points in his high school career and has been a three year all-district tournament team member . . . leading scorer in the 2015 1st Regional Tournament and he made a last-second 3-pointer to defeat Paducah Tilghman in the quarterfinal round.
