2023 (Freshman): Saw action in 35 games, starting in 23 … collected 21 hits … drove in 21 runs while scoring 17 times … slugged .489, clubbing five doubles and six homers … knocked his first collegiate home run at Mississippi State on March 28 … drove in a season-high four runs at Mercer on May 20 … posted a 1.000 fielding percentage with exceptional defense in center field for the Bulldogs.

High School: Played shortstop, third base, outfield and pitcher at Brentwood High School in Tennessee . . . batted .419 with 19 RBI in 36 games . . . was the 11th-ranked outfielder in Tennessee and a top 500 national player . . . was named All-Region in 2020 . . . Walton also played football in high school, amassing 2,639 receiving yards and 37 touchdowns while earning All-Region honors.
