2023 Pinnacle Award Winner (Highest GPA on SoCon Championship Team)

2023 (Junior): Made 17 appearances on the mound, with 15 starts to his credit … compiled a 3-4 record with a 5.83 earned run average … struck out 72 batters over 75.1 innings pitched while walking just 25 … posted a 2-1 record in SoCon play, with a 5.59 ERA … tossed a season-high six innings on three separate occasions, including six scoreless innings at ETSU on March 25 … fanned a season-best nine batters against Toledo on May 15.

2022 (Sophomore): Was one of just three Bulldogs to make 20 appearances on the mound … additionally logged three starts … posted a record of 3-4 with … registered 46 strikeouts in 48 innings … struck out a season-high eight batters over five innings against Jacksonville State on April 19 … tossed a season-high 5.2 innings in a start against Alabama State on Feb. 22.

Previous College: Transferred to Samford after two seasons at Georgia Tech . . .  made four relief appearances in the shortened 2020 season … finished the year with a 3.18 ERA over 5.2 innings of work … allowed just two earned runs on four hits, striking out eight overall … held opponents to a .211 batting average . . . in 2021, he appeared in six games on the mound, all in relief . . . struck out six batters in seven innings of work.
 
High School: Prepped at North Forsyth High School . . . rated as an elite right-handed pitcher in the state of Georgia by Perfect Game … named an honorable mention to the 2019 PG Preseason All-America team for the southeast … also earned high honorable mentions to the 2017 and 2018 PG Preseason Underclassmen All-America teams … an 18-time All-Tournament Team selection in travel ball … named to Showcase Top Prospect Team in 2017 … a two-time WWBA Champion with the East Cobb Yankees (2017 and 2018) … threw a one-hitter in his last travel game … a four-year letterwinner at North Forsyth … named first-team all-Region 5-7A in 2017 and 2019 … recorded 12 strikeouts against Northview HS during his senior season … graduated with honors.
