2012 (Redshirt Freshman): Did not compete.

2011 (Freshman): Redshirted.

High School: Came in second place in the 800 meters at the 2010 6A Alabama State Championships...was on the 201 6A State 4x800 championship team...also played football.

Personal: Born July 15, 1991...son of Tim and Kim Gayle...majoring in pre-engineering.
