2012 (Sophomore): Played in 39 games, starting 30 mostly at second base … suffered a season-ending injury in the May 25 double-header at Murray State … was second on the team with a .340 batting average, slapping 32 hits in 94 at bats … was the team’s primary leadoff hitter, batting there in 21 of her 30 starts … posted a 10-game hitting streak from March 31 to April 21 … recorded eight multi-hit games, including four-hit performances against Columbia (March 3) and UNCG (April 1).

2011 (Freshman): Played in 30 games, starting 20 ... ranked fourth on the team in batting average, hitting .267 with 12 hits in 45 at bats ... had four games with multiple hits, three coming in the month of February ... earned two of her three RBI in back-to-back games in the Magic City Classic, including an RBI single against Alabama State and a sacrifice fly against Radford.

High School: Came to Samford by way of La Reina High School in Newberry Park, Calif....earned the California Scholarship Federation award, the Citizenship Award and First Honors.

Personal: Born November 30, 1992...daughter of Robert and Liz Suranne...father, Robert, played football at Louisiana State University...majoring in business.
