2021 Indoor & Outdoor: Competed in 13 meets for the Bulldogs, seven indoor and six outdoor...Took home two golds and a silver at the SoCon Indoor Championships where he won the weight throw with a mark of 17.30 meters and the shot put with a throw of 15.85 meters; Cahoon also secured a second-place finish in the high jump with a leap of 2.05 meters...At the War Eagle Outdoor Invite Cahoon posted a career best mark in the hammer throw 48.85 meters...Was named the Men's Most Outstanding Performer at the SoCon Outdoor Championships scoring points for the Bulldogs in five events: a seventh-place finish in the hammer throw (46.63 meters), a fifth-place finish in th high jump (2.00 meters), a bronze medal performance in the shot put (15.33 meters), and a pair of personal best performances and individual titles in the discus throw (49.98 meters) and the javelin throw (67.87 meters)...At the NCAA East Preliminaries Cahoon broke his previous personal best in the javelin throw with a mark of 68.55 meters.
High School: Prepped at Holly Pond High School where he also played basketball…on the track he is an 11x Alabama state champion, he holds the Alabama 3a discus state record, Alabama 3a shot put state record, Alabama 1a-3a indoor high jump state record and is was a USTAF discus and javelin All-American.
