2011 (Sophomore): Competed at the Samford-UAB Dual Meet, placing 16th (17:47.20).
2010 (Freshman): Competed in three meets for the Bulldogs as true freshman...placed 130th at the Brooks Memphis Twilight (Sept. 25), 22nd at the Samford Invitational (Oct. 9) and 28th at the Front Runner Invitational (Oct. 16).
High School: Named Hewitt-Trussville High School's 2010 Female Athlete of the Year...qualified for the state track meet in four events as a senior...a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta...named to the Birmingham News All-Academic Team in 2009 and 2010.
Personal: Born June 18, 1992...daughter of Terry and Kim Sims...majoring in biology on pre-veterinary track.
