Biography
2014 (Sophomore): Indoor: Competed in four meets…tabbed a personal best in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:10.52 at the SoCon Indoor Championships on March 2…recorded a season best time of 5:16.17 in the mile at the Samford Multi & Invitational on February 8…Outdoor: Competed in five meets…notched a personal best 4:45.03 in the 1,500 meters at the Tiger Classic on April 5…recorded a season best 5:16.72 at the Battle of I-65 on March 15…picked up a personal best time of 11:13.60 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the SoCon Outdoor Championships on April 27.
2013 (Freshman): Indoor: Competed in three meets … finished third in the mile run at the SoCon Championships with a personal-best time of 5:04.82, which ranks ninth all-time at Samford … ran lead leg on the third-place distance medley relay at the SoCon Championships, finishing in 12:05.20. Outdoor: Competed in four meets … placed seventh in the steeplechase at the SoCon Championships (11:25.90) … ran a personal-best 11:16.51 in the steeplechase at the Tiger Track Classic, which ranks fifth all-time at Samford.
High School: Attended Franklin High School … qualified to the state championships a combined eight times between cross country and track … earned a top ten finish at the state cross country meet three years, finishing as high as third her senior year … finished runner-up in the 3,200 meters and third in the 1,600 meters at the 2012 state meet … ran with the Williamson County Youth Track Club, qualifying for nationals three times … earned All-America honors in 2010 … holds school records in the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 meters and the 4x400 and 4x800-meter relays.
