BIRMINGHAM, Ala.— Members of the Samford University women's basketball team spent time visiting and playing with individuals at The Exceptional Foundation Thursday afternoon at the foundation's facilities in Homewood.

"It's always fun to get out and see what they are doing over here and the relationships they have over here," Samford senior guard Shelby Campbell said. "It's fun to interact as a team with them."

The Samford players and coaches spent time talking and shooting with the individuals at The Exceptional Foundation. The also played a pick-up game during their time at the facility.

"It was super cool to play basketball with them," Campbell said. "To actually play real games with them was fun. They were really good, and it was a good experience."
