TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- In its toughest test of the 2016-17 season, the Samford University basketball team never backed down from the No. 21-ranked Florida State Seminoles in a Monday matinee matchup, but eventually came up short in the hard-fought 76-68 road decision held at the Tucker Center.
