Men's Golf To Compete In Memphis Intercollegiate

MEMPHIS, Tenn.—The Samford men's golf team will continue its fall season by competing in the Memphis Intercollegiate at Colonial Country Club (par 72, 7,300 yards), Monday and Tuesday.

In addition to Samford and the host team, Memphis, the tournament field will consist of Arkansas State, Belmont, Central Arkansas, IUPUI, Little Rock, Lipscomb, Marshall, Oral Roberts, Southern Miss, Western Carolina and Western Kentucky.

The teams will play 36 holes on Monday, followed by the final 18 holes on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs opened the fall season earlier this month at the Sam Hall Intercollegiate. Samford placed 14^th in the tournament, with a team score of 876 (293-302-281).

Individually for Samford, Crawford Flach led the way, tying for 17^th with a three-round score of 214 (72-72-70). Garrett Moores tied for 35^th at 217 (76-72-69), while Robert Adams (77-80-72) and Alec Stopperich (74-78-77) both tied for 78^th with identical scores of 229.
