Â
The Bulldogs tallied their second run of the game in the top of the ninth as
Sam McWhorter pinch hit and ripped a double to right field. He then scored two pitches later as Edens singled to left-center field for his second RBI of the game.
Â
Samford's
Connor Radcliff (1-2) started the contest on the mound and was issued the loss. He was hurt by five walks allowed in two innings of action.
