SAMFORD
1). The Samford women's basketball team comes into Thursday's game with a record of 10-12 overall and 2-5 in Southern Conference play. The Bulldogs are coming off a 76-48 loss at ETSU Saturday afternoon.
 
2). As a team, Samford currently leads the Southern Conference in three-pointers made per game (6.0). The Bulldogs also rank second in the league in assists per game (14.6).
 
3). Individually, Charity Brown ranks second in the Southern Conference in both assists per game (6.2) and assist-turnover ratio (2.0). Olivia Crozier ranks second in the league in field goal percentage (.567), while Hannah Nichols ranks third in defensive rebounds (6.2), fourth in the SoCon in blocked shots per game (1.1) and rebounding (6.9), and fifth in three-point percentage (.336).
 
 
4). Samford is led in scoring and rebounding by senior guard Hannah Nichols, averaging 13.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Sophomore Olivia Crozier averages 9.6 points and 5.3 boards per contest.
 
5). Hannah Nichols enters Thursday night's game just three rebounds shy of becoming just the third player in program history to have both 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in her career. She currently has 1,350 points and 497 rebounds in her time at Samford. The other two players in the 1,000-500 club are Savannah Hill (1,539 pts, 686 reb.) and Alex Munday (1,603 pts, 612 reb.).
 
WOFFORD
1). Wofford has a record of 10-12 overall and 3-4 in Southern Conference games. The Terriers are coming off a 79-48 win over Furman Saturday.
             
2). Among available players, Cairo Booker leads Wofford in scoring, averaging 10.7 points per game. Da'Ja Green averages 10.6 points per game for the Terriers.
           
3). Marissa Bayer leads the team in rebounding, grabbing 6.1 boards per contest. Green averages 5.9 rebounds per game.
           
4). Green is also the team leader in assists, dishing out 4.6 assists per game. Booker averages 3.5 assists per game.
 
5). Samford and Wofford will be meeting for the 25th time, with the Bulldogs holding a 21-3 advantage in the series. The teams met earlier this season on Jan. 6 in Spartanburg, S.C. The Terriers earned a 58-46 victory in that earlier meeting. The Bulldogs are 10-0 against Wofford in Birmingham, 8-3 against the Terriers in Spartanburg and 3-0 at neutral sites.
