Hannah Nichols and sophomore
Olivia Crozier were both named to the second team of the All-Southern Conference Tournament team, the league office announced Sunday.
In two tournament games, Crozier averaged 15.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. Nichols averaged 12.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.
In the team's quarterfinal win over Furman, Crozier scored 17 points and grabbed five rebounds. Nichols had 13 points and 10 rebounds in the victory.
Crozier had 13 points and four rebounds in Samford's semifinal loss to Mercer. Nichols contributed 12 points and six rebounds in the loss.
Samford finished its season with a record of 15-16 overall and 6-8 in Southern Conference play. The Bulldogs reached the semifinals of the SoCon Tournament for the eighth time in the school's 10 seasons in the league.
