Men's Golf Set For Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate This Week

JONESBORO, Ark. – The Samford men's golf team is set to compete in the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate, hosted by Arkansas State, at the Ridge Pointe Country Club (Par 72, 6,676 yards), Monday and Tuesday.
The teams will play two rounds Monday and one round Tuesday. Joining Samford and Arkansas State in the tournament will be Austin Peay, Belmont, Eastern Illinois, Florida Atlantic, Omaha, Oral Roberts, Missouri State, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern Illinois, UT Arlington and UT Martin.
Samford's playing five for the tournament will be Harlan Winn, Alec Stopperich, Austin Rains, Jackson Seawell and Alex Markham. Samford's George Hall will play in the tournament as an individual.
Winn enters this week's tournament with a stroke average of 74.14 in 21 rounds of golf. Stopperich has a 74.21 average over 24 rounds, while Rains has averaged 75.83 over 12 rounds.
Seawell has a stroke average of 79.67 in nine rounds, while Markham has averaged 78.67 in 12 rounds. Hall has a 78.83 average over 12 rounds of golf.
