SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Samford women's golf team sits in fourth place out of 16 teams after the first two rounds of the Terrier Intercollegiate, held Monday at the Carolina Country Club (par 72, 7,069 yds.).
Samford posted a two-round score of 610 (310-300), placing fourth. SCAD-Savannah leads the event with a score of 597 (298-299).
Individually for Samford,
Mary Kate Horton is tied for third in the 90-player field. She posted a two-round score of 146 (76-70).
Allison Howard is tied for 14
th at 151 (77-74).
