CULLOWHEE, N.C. – The Samford volleyball team earned a 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-18) win over Western Carolina Friday evening at the Ramsey Center.
The Samford win sets up a match for the Southern Conference regular-season title Saturday night at ETSU. Samford improves to 20-5 overall and 14-1 in SoCon matches. Western Carolina falls to 17-12 overall and 11-5 in league matches.

- The score was tight early in the first set until Samford was able to extend to a 16-10 advantage.
- WCU fought back to cut the lead to 17-14, but the Bulldogs were able to extend to a 20-14 lead, and Samford took the set, 25-20.
