BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis team earned a 4-2 win over Tulane Saturday afternoon at the Samford Tennis Center.
 
With the win, Samford improves its record to 6-4. Tulane falls to 4-7 with the loss.
 
Tulane took the early lead by winning on the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles courts to earn the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead.
 
In singles, Samford earned wins at No. 1, No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6 to earn the 4-2 win. Tulane won on the No. 5 singles court, and the match at No. 3 singles was unfinished.
 
Samford will host Troy on Thursday, Feb. 28. The match is set for a 1:30 p.m. start from the Samford Tennis Center and admission is FREE!
