ATLANTA, Ga. – The Samford baseball team swept a doubleheader from Georgia State to earn a three-game series sweep of the Panthers Saturday afternoon. Samford won the first game, 8-6, and then took the final game by a score of 2-1.
With the sweep, Samford improves to 7-3, while Georgia State falls to 3-8 with the losses.

- Branden Fryman went 3-for-5 with an RBI to lead Samford at the plate.
- Connor Burns went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI for the Bulldogs.
