Soccer Wins Double-OT Thriller With Western Kentucky, 3-2

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –
Samford junior defender Grace Sommi scored on a header off a corner kick in the final minute of the second overtime to lift the Bulldog soccer team to a 3-2 win over Western Kentucky Friday night at the Samford Track and Soccer Stadium.
 
With the win, Samford improves to 1-1-1 on the young season. Western Kentucky is also 1-1-1 on the season.
