KENNESAW, Ga. – The Samford volleyball team picked up a 3-2 (21-25, 25-19, 25-22, 15-25, 15-10) win over the Kennesaw State Owls in the first round of the Kennesaw State Challenge Friday evening.

- In the first set, Kennesaw State jumped out to an early 4-1 lead.
- Samford fought back to tie the score at 8-8.
- With KSU leading, 19-18, the Owls scores six of the next nine points to win the set, 25-21.
