GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Samford men's basketball team dropped a 95-67 decision at UNCG Sunday afternoon at the Greensboro Coliseum.
 
With the loss, Samford falls to 8-18 overall and 2-10 in Southern Conference play. UNCG improves to 19-6 overall and 9-3 in league contests.

• Robert Allen led Samford with 28 points and 10 rebounds.
• Donte Tatum tallied 11 points for Samford.
• Jalen Dupree added 10 points for the Bulldogs.
• UNCG was led by Kyrin Galloway with 19 points.

 
GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• UNCG jumped out to an early 12-3 lead with 17:23 to go in the first half after layup by James Dickey.
• The Spartans pushed their lead to 19 points at 38-19 with 6:53 to go in the opening period.
• Samford cut the lead to 11 points at 38-27 with 5:07 to go in the first half after a jumper by Allen.
• UNCG held a 49-30 lead going into the locker room at halftime.
• The Spartans pushed the lead to 30 points at 68-38 with 12:59 left in the game.
• UNCG finished with a 95-67 win.
