Women’s Golf To Compete In UAB Spring Invitational

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's golf team will compete in the UAB Spring Invitational, Monday and Tuesday at Greystone Country Club's Founders Course (Par 72, 6,096 yds).

FOCAL POINT

After taking last week off, the Bulldogs will look to have a strong showing, playing in the only local tournament the team will play in this season.

BULLDOGS TO WATCH

Samford's playing five for the tournament will be sophomore Sophie Membrino, freshman Bailey Dunstan, freshman Allison Dusek, freshman Kelley Topiwala and junior Mary Kate Horton.
Also, freshmen Tilly Kedzlie and Allison Howard will play as individuals.

NEWS & NOTES

A total of 11 teams will compete in the tournament. Samford will be joined in the tournament by UAB, High Point, Marshall, Little Rock, Alabama State, North Alabama, Belmont, Xavier, Middle Tennessee and Jacksonville State.
The teams will play 36 holes Monday and 18 holes Tuesday. Samford tee times will begin at 8:30 a.m. Monday.
