BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Offense was on display for the Samford women's soccer team on Sunday afternoon as the Bulldogs picked up a dominant 5-0 victory over ETSU at the Samford Track and Soccer Stadium.

KEY PLAYS
- Just five minutes into the game, Samford registered two shots on frame, forcing ETSU's goalkeeper, Ashton Blair, to make two saves.
- Lexi Orman gave the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead at the 21:21 minute mark after she launched a shot from outside the 18-yard box for an upper 90 goal in the right side of the net.
- Samford had another great chance to double the score in the 25th minute with a lofted shot from Alex Bice, but it went slightly over the top of the net to keep the score at 1-0.
- In the final seven minutes of the first half, Alex Bice executed her second chance in front of goal after running onto a through ball from Audrey Kleiman. Bice placed the ball in the bottom right corner of the net to further the Bulldog lead.
- Ella Simpson found her second goal of the weekend off a corner kick fifteen minutes into the second half. She beat her defender on the inside shoulder and got her head on the ball for Samford's third goal of the afternoon.
- Two minutes later, Taylor Yount jumped on a loose ball in the box and slotted it into the lower right corner to push the score to 4-0.
- Another opportunity presented itself to Samford in the 64th minute after Caroline Orman was taken down in the box for a Bulldog penalty kick. She placed the ball into the lower left corner to add the fifth and final goal to the score sheet.

- Samford outshot the Buccaneers 18 to one with 12 of those being on frame. The Bulldogs also took an eight to one advantage in corner kicks, while playing aggressive for a total of nine fouls.
- Morgan McAslan made her fifth start of the season and recorded one save in her 70 minutes between the posts.
- Fellow goalkeeper Alex Bicknell made her first appearance of the season and closed out the game for Samford in the final 20 minutes of play.
- Taylor Yount led the Bulldogs offensively with five shots and one goal.
- Lexi Orman and Caroline Orman each found their first goal of the season.
- Alex Bice and Ella Simpson also scored their first goals for the Bulldogs this year.
- Alyssa Frazier and Audrey Kleiman found themselves in play-making positions as both players registered one assist.
