BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Samford's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) announced the nominees for the 13
th-annual Mr. and Miss Bulldog awards Tuesday.
The awards are normally presented as part of the SAMSPYs awards ceremony, with the Mr. and Miss Bulldog awards being the highest honors of the night. However, for a second-straight year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no in-person SAMSPYs ceremony.
The Mr. and Miss Bulldog awards go to two student-athletes, one male and one female, who excel in the classroom, in competition and in the community. The awards are voted on by SAAC members.
The winners of this year's awards will be announced Thursday afternoon. A full list of the nominees is below.
