BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – To begin a three-game pre-Christmas road swing, the Samford women's basketball team heads to Montgomery for a midweek matchup with Alabama State.
The Bulldogs and Hornets are scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. CT tipoff and the game will be streamed on Alabama State's Youtube channel.
Samford enters the contest with a 4-6 record through the first 10 games of the season after downing the Southern Miss Golden Eagles 71-59 on Dec. 3.
Wednesday marks the 17th meeting between the two squads with Samford winning 11 of the previous 12 matchups including six straight dating back to 2014.

Sussy Ngulefac,
Kathleen Wheeler,
Alyssa Tarpley and
Sanaa Redmond.
Entering the Alabama State game, Cournoyer is averaging 19.7 points per game, which is good enough to rank 33rd nationally and first in the SoCon. The senior guard ranks first in the SoCon and eighth in the country with 168 total points.
