BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Samford women's basketball team (9-13, 4-4 SoCon) will return home to host the ETSU Bucs (3-18, 3-6 SoCon) Monday evening at 6 p.m. in the Pete Hanna Center. Admission to the game is free. The game can be seen live on ESPN+ with Curt Bloom (PBP), Emily London Swaim (Color) and Eric Biancalana (Sideline) calling the action.    Â

- Samford and ETSU are meeting for the 18th time, with Samford holding a 9-8 series lead. The teams met last Thursday evening, with the Bucs taking a 76-69 win in Johnson City, Tenn.
- Samford last played on Feb. 5, with the Bulldogs earning a 77-67 win at Chattanooga. Samford was led in the game by Andrea Cournoyer with 28 points. Sussy Ngulefac had 13 points, while Natalie Armstrong had 11 points and Audra Leipold had 10. Annie Ramil grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds for the Bulldogs. As a team, Samford shot 50.9 (29-of-57) percent from the floor and 50.0 percent (10-of-20) from three-point range.
- ETSU is coming off an 82-48 loss to Mercer Saturday afternoon. Carly Hooks led the Bucs with 16 points. Sarah Thompson added 10 points for ETSU.Â
- ETSU is averaging 54.5 points per game entering Monday evening's contest, while giving up 70.3 points per game. Â
- ETSU is led by Carly Hooks, averaging 9.9 points per game. Courtney Moore averages 7.7 points per game for the Bucs.
- Samford's Andrea Cournoyer comes into Monday evening's game leading the SoCon in scoring at 18.3 points per game while also leading in both steals (2.9) per game and in free throw percentage (.873).
- Samford has a record of 5-4 so far this season in home games. The Bulldogs have earned home wins against Montevallo, Murray State, Talladega, UAB and Furman. The Bulldogs have fallen at home to Jacksonville State, Alabama A&M, Chattanooga and Wofford.
- The Bulldogs are 7-0 when scoring 75 or more points in a game so far this season. The 90 points scored against Furman are the most Samford has ever scored in a SoCon game.

- Sanaa Redmond enters the week ranking third in the SoCon in assists at 2.9 per game. The freshman from Philadelphia, Pa., had a career-high nine assists in the Bulldogs' win over Montevallo.
- The Bulldogs are shooting 41.8 percent from the floor to rank first in the SoCon. Samford has made 530-of-1268 attempts so far this season. Sussy Ngulefac leads the way shooting 62.6 percent.Â
- Shauntai Battle is averaging 8.1 points per game to rank 24th in the SoCon. She also ranks seventh in 3-point FG made per game (1.6) as well. Â
- Preseason All-SoCon selection and junior forward Annie Ramil has been a force on the boards, averaging 6.9 rebounds per game, ranking ninth in the league. She tied a career-high with 16 in the win at North Alabama.
- Mallory Hampton is off to a good start this season, ranking 12th in the SoCon in assists per game (2.4).
- As a team, Samford has done an excellent job of defending the three-point shot so far this season. The Bulldogs have limited their opponents to just 31.0 percent from beyond the arc, ranking fourth in the Southern Conference.
- In two-plus seasons under head coach Carley Kuhns, Samford is 25-10 in Southern Conference play. The Bulldogs won a share of the SoCon regular season title in her first season with a 10-4 mark in conference play. Last season, she led the Bulldogs to an 11-2 record in Southern Conference record, winning the program's first outright SoCon regular season championship. So far this season, Samford is 4-4 in league contests.

Mallory Hampton had 13 points, while Sussy Ngulefac had 10 points. Annie Ramil tallied seven points and a team-high eight rebounds.
