BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Samford Baseball Head Coach Tony David announced on Wednesday the Bulldogs' 2023 summer camp slate.
The camps cover all ages from five through junior college sophomores and will take place on the campus of Samford University while utilizing the Samford Baseball Team's facilities.
"We have had a tremendously loyal following of campers over the years," David said. "I have run these camps since I arrived at Samford 19 years ago and am proud of how we have built it in that time. Running these camps over the same weeks each summer has helped with the consistency for the families that are a part of our baseball program through our camp world."
Camp staff includes the entire Samford coaching staff, along with current and former student-athletes.
"Our campers love being around our guys," David said. "They come to watch them in the spring and then get to be around them in a more personal way at the camps. It is great."
Camps feature a low player-to-coach ratio to allow for personalized instruction for the best possible growth for the players regardless of ability level. There are camps for all ages designed specifically for the players in those age groups to maximize their camp experience to become better players and enjoy the game.
