BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The 2023 NFL campaign is just a little over halfway with former members of the Samford football team on four active rosters.
  
Past Samford standouts James Bradberry is on the Eagles, Nick Williams is with the Chargers and Michael Peirce plays for the Ravens. Montrell Washington was promoted to of the Chiefs' active roster for Week 12 after opening the season on the practice squad.
  
James Bradberry (Samford - 2012-15)
Week 13 Schedule:  49ers at Eagles (Sunday, 3:25 p.m. CT)
Former Bulldog great and All-Pro cornerback James Bradberry tallied three tackles, five pass deflections and hauled in an interception during the Eagles' 37-34 overtime victory over the Bills.
 
Nick Williams (Samford - 2008-12)
Week 13 Schedule:  Browns at Chargers (Sunday, 3:25 p.m. CT)
Nick Williams had a pair of tackles as the Chargers fell 20-10 to the Ravens.
   
Michael Pierce (Samford - 2013-15)
Week 13 Schedule: Bye Week
In the Ravens' 20-10 win over the Chargers, Michael Pierce recorded four tackles and had a fumble recovery.  
  
Montrell Washington (Samford - 2017-21)
Week 13 Schedule:  Chiefs at Packers (Sunday, 7:20 p.m. CT)
Montrell Washington was signed to the active roster leading up to the Chiefs' 31-17 win over the Raiders but did not record any stats.
