"I was really proud of the team because I thought that was a really good team win even though we won in three, it was a hard match. I was proud of how we defended and how we showed some toughness in some dicey moments."

For ETSU, Makayla Bays had 11 kills and six digs.

The Bucs cut the lead to one point at 19-18 and again at 20-19, but Samford closed the set on a 5-1 run to win the second set by a score of 25-20.
