GAME NOTES--SAMFORD VS. TENNESSEE TECH (PDF)
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's basketball team will return home to play host to former OVC rival Tennessee Tech Tuesday at 12 p.m. in the Pete Hanna Center.
Samford and Tennessee Tech are meeting for the 16th time, with Tennessee Tech holding a 9-6 series lead. The teams last met in 2022 with TTU winning, 75-70. The teams were co-members of the OVC from 2003-04 to 2007-08.
The Samford women's basketball team enters Tuesday's game with a record of 2-5. The Bulldogs are coming off a 104-59 loss at Vanderbilt last Friday evening.

Emily Bowman ranks fourth in the Southern Conference in scoring (12.4 ppg.) and she leads the league in rebounding (9.9 rpg.), posting four double-doubles through the first seven games of the season. Freshman
Claire Johnson is currently second on the team in scoring, averaging 10.3 points per game. She has scored in double figures in four of her first seven college games.
Annie Ramil is averaging 8.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. She posted a double-double at Memphis with 10 points and 13 rebounds. Samford sophomore
Kennedy Langham is currently averaging 9.1 points per game, while
Sadie Stetson is scoring 9.0 points per contest for the Bulldogs.
The Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles enter Tuesday's game with a mark of 4-2. They most recently played at ETSU last Saturday, falling to the Bucs by a score of 53-48.
Tennessee Tech has been led so far this season by Reghan Grimes, averaging 12.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Peyton Carter is scoring 10.7 points per game, while Taris Thornton and Chloe Larry are both averaging 10.2 points per game. Anna Walker leads the team in rebounding, grabbing 9.2 boards per contest.
