Women’s Golf Ties For Seventh At Huntsville.org Intercollegiate

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Samford women's golf team finished in a tie for seventh place at the Huntsville.org Intercollegiate, hosted by Samford, Monday through Wednesday at Hampton Cove-Highlands Cours (Par 72, 6,039 yards).
Samford finished with a three-round team score of 918 (300-309-309) to tie for seventh in the 16-team field. Lipscomb won the event with a score of 878 (288-297-293).
Individually for Samford, Gabi Nicastro tied for 10th in the 83-player field with a three-round score of 224 (71-76-77). Grace Engel, playing as an individual, also tied for 10th at 224 (76-75-73).
Behind Nicastro in Samford's playing five, Bailey Dunstan tied for 16th at 227 (76-73-78). Christian Williams tied for 26th at 232 (75-81-76), Kelley Topiwala tied for 47th at 238 (78-82-78) and Anika Richards also tied for 47th at 238 (81-79-78).
Ella Stoll and Kate Joyner also played as individuals from Samford. Stoll placed 42nd with a score of 235 (75-81-79), while Joyner came in 59th at 244 (80-84-80).
Samford will next play in The Low Country Intercollegiate, hosted by Wofford, Mar. 15-17 in Bluffton, S.C.
