SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Samford's Jaggerd Moore was tabbed as the Southern Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week when the league released its weekly track and field honors on Wednesday afternoon. 
  
Selections were made by panels of the league's track and field coaches and included all outdoor competitions to date.
  
Moore competed at the Doc Anderson Invitational in Troy, Alabama, where he won the high jump, clearing 2.11 meters. The sophomore from Trussville, Alabama, currently leads the conference with his mark that has made regional in all previous seasons.
  
Samford will return to action on April 20 for the Auburn Track Classic in Auburn, Ala.
