SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Samford junior
Ellison Chadwick was named the Southern Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week when the league released its weekly track and field honors Wednesday afternoon.
At the Montevallo Falcon Classic, Chadwick turned in an impressive performance in the first outdoor meet of the season. In the long jump, Chadwick won the event, posting a jump of 6.09 meters.
The Bulldogs will next compete in the UAB Open, March 27-28.
