BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Samford Bulldogs women's basketball program is gearing up for its next road test, traveling to Cookeville on Thursday, December 4 to take on the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.
Coming off a tough outing at Minnesota, a 77–40 loss, the Bulldogs are determined to rebound as they seek to halt a recent road slide.
The spotlight is on sophomore guard
Briana Rivera, who leads the Bulldogs and nation in made three-pointers and three-point attempts.
Freshman guard
Avary Brewer, who recorded a career-high 17 points (including four 3-pointers) coming off the bench in the Minnesota game, will look to build on that momentum and provide another lift for Samford.
The tip-off in Cookeville is scheduled for 11 a.m. CST at the Hooper Eblen Center. The game will be able to stream on ESPN+ and can be followed on Live Stats.
