SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Samford men's tennis team earned a 7-0 win at Wofford Sunday afternoon.
 
With the win, Samford improved its record to 11-4 overall and 2-0 in Southern Conference play. Wofford fell to 4-6 overall and 0-1 in league play.
 
Samford swept the three doubles matches to take an early 1-0 lead.
 
The Bulldogs then swept all six singles matches to close out the 7-0 win. At No. 1 singles, Sandeep Mohandoss defeated Robbie Young, 6-4, 6-3. On the No. 2 singles court. Darcy Nicholls earned a 6-1, 6-3 win over Jack Deveney. At No. 3 singles, Hayden Menon defeated Daniel Clivio, 6-3, 6-3.
 
On the No. 4 singles court, J.B. Pickard defeated Ian Rasheed, 6-2, 4-6, 1-0 (10-2). At No. 5 singles, Sebastian Harrison defeated Jack Burdell, 6-3, 6-1. At No. 6 singles, Santiago Arredondo defeated Hugo Rask, 6-2, 6-4.
 
Next up, Samford will play at Furman on Tuesday, March 11. The match is set for a 2 p.m. (CT) start from Greenville, S.C.
