Senior (2015) – Redshirt
Junior (2014) – Competed in five meets for the Bulldogs under head coach Lori Strand…opened the season with a 14th place finish in the 5k at the Samford Dual Meet with a time of 17:34.34…posted a season best time 25:42.74 in the 8k at the Commodore Classic on Sept. 13…recorded a 5th place finish at the Charlotte Invitational on Sept. 25…competed in the 10k at the NCAA South Regionals and finished 101st overall with a time of 32:36.60…finished 27th overall in the 8k at the SoCon Championships with a time of 25:49.14.
Sophomore (2013) – Competed in five meets for the Bulldogs under head coach Lori Strand…opened the season with a 12th place time of 16:50.97 in the Samford Dual Meet 5k on Aug. 31…posted a season best time of 25:47.42 in the 8k at the Crimson Classic on Oct. 18…placed 28th overall at the SoCon Championships on Nov. 2…competed at the NCAA South Regionals and finished 99th overall with a time of 32:17.06 in the 10k.
2012 (Freshman): Competed in all six meets during the season … earned All-Freshman honors at the SoCon Championships with a 24th-place finish in the 8K (25:40.77) … led all Samford competitors in the first four meets of the season … earned top-ten finishes in the 6K at the Alabama Cross Country Kickoff (4th, 20:48.57) and the Auburn Invite (10th, 19:44.00) … led the Bulldogs in the 8K at the Charlotte Invitational (53rd, 25:45.38) and Crimson Classic (26:30.59).
High School: Attended Spain Park High School … 2011 and 2010 6A Alabama Cross Country State Champion … 2011 Birmingham News Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year … 2010 Alabama Boys Gatorade Cross Country Runner of the Year … State champion in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters during the 2012 indoor and outdoor seasons … Birmingham Kiwanis Club Boys Track Athlete of the Year.
Personal: Born October 21, 1993 … son of David and Sharon Hazouri … has two sisters, Bailey and Renee …majoring in sports administration.
